Chart of Account Auto Rules

Within Chart of Accounts, on the Admin tab, you’ll see a field labeled Account Number Rules.
This is a special feature that lets you define keywords to automatically assign the correct chart of account number anywhere it’s used in the system.

Note: You’re always in control. You can manually fill in or override these automatic rules whenever you need.

You can include multiple keywords in this field. Just separate each one using a comma (,), semicolon (;), or pipe (|) character.

• String A, String B, String C
• String A;String B; String C
• String A|String B|String C

The system automatically trims any extra spaces before or after each keyword.
Just remember: use the same delimiter throughout a single rule.
You can’t mix commas, semicolons, and pipes within the same account number rule.
