Understanding the Account Activity Log

Note: This feature may be disabled in the demo environment for performance reasons, so the log may appear empty.

How to Get Here

  1. Navigate to the detail page for the Account whose history you want to view.
  2. Click on the Logs tab.

Understanding the Log

In a live environment, the grid will populate with a new entry every time an action is taken on the account. Examples of logged activities include:

  • A user logging in to view the account.
  • A user updating a field (e.g., changing a phone number or address).
  • An email being sent from the account.
  • A document being uploaded.
  • Automated system actions or API calls.

Understanding the Columns

  • View: Allows you to see the full details of a specific log entry.
  • Category Name: The type of action that occurred (e.g., "User Login," "Field Update").
  • Payload: The technical data associated with the action (e.g., the old and new values of a changed field).
  • IP Address: The internet address from which the action was performed.
  • Created: The exact timestamp of the action.
